Longwell Riess Client - Michael Echols & Echols Family - break ground on old Sugar Brothers grocery store and Opera House redevelopment

Longwell Riess client Michael Echols and the Echols family break ground on the redevelopment of the old Sugar Brothers grocery store and Opera House, built in 1894, and the adjacent Southern Hardware store in Monroe, Louisiana.  The development will utilize low income housing tax credits and historic tax credits  and will produce the first new hotel development the city has seen in decades. Kelly Longwell represents the developer on the transaction.
